Let’s be frank: Marcus has once again created art that viewers of all ages can relish. Marcus lives and creates his artwork in his studio just a few blocks north of the Museum at Eldridge Street on Manhattan’s Lower East Side, once the stronghold of the Yiddish Theatre and other Jewish cultural and religious touchstones, where he has worked and developed an international reputation over the last 30 years.

The exhibition titled “Top Dog of Kosher Pop Art” is also accompanied by selections from Marcus’s personal collection of New York City hot dog memorabilia, as well as a few of his hand-made objects. It also features photos of Marcus at work and roaming about the city he loves, shot and developed by the legendary photographer and darkroom master Sid Kaplan of Vanishing New York fame, also an East Side resident. Ketchup with your memories, your love of art, and your links to the old neighborhood through Marcus’s creations and visually nosh on one of America’s favorite foods...Bon appétit! Be’te-avon!
